Hi, I’m Jena Reif, an abstract mixed media artist based in Columbus, Ohio.

I spent almost a decade in tech before stepping away in 2017 to raise my daughters. In 2022, I launched Jena Reif Art, and my practice deepened during a difficult season for our family. Painting became the place where I could process what I couldn’t yet say out loud, and a way to find grounding and meaning when words weren’t enough.

My work is built in layers of alcohol ink, acrylic, and gestural line, made with airflow tools, brushes, palette knives, and pencils. Each piece is unplanned and made intuitively, a record of emotion that becomes visual form. I’m largely self-taught, and I trust the work to tell me what it needs.

Through my art, I hope to help others feel seen, understood, and less alone. Every original is a one-of-one, and my limited edition prints are produced in controlled runs.
