Hi, I’m Jena—an abstract artist and creative entrepreneur with a love for painting, mark-making, and the endless exploration of color. I create expressive abstract art through original paintings and fine art prints designed to reflect emotion, connection, and the human experience.

My journey into the art world has been anything but traditional. With a background in business and technology, I began my career in tech after graduating during the 2010 recession. In 2017, I stepped away from the corporate world to focus on full-time motherhood, and in 2022, I took a leap of faith to pursue my passion for art by launching Jena Reif Art.

Shortly after starting this new chapter, life took an unexpected turn—my oldest daughter was diagnosed with leukemia. I paused my business to focus on our family, but painting remained my outlet—a way to process emotion, find grounding, and create meaning during an incredibly difficult time. Now, as her treatment is complete, I’m returning to my work with a renewed sense of purpose and a deeper connection to the emotional power of abstract art.

My work is deeply personal and rooted in lived experience. I create modern abstract paintings using a mix of traditional and unconventional tools—including airflow tools, brushes, palette knives, and pencils. Each piece becomes a layered expression of emotion, transforming complex experiences into visual form.
